Candle Care
Do you notice black soot?
Why is there black residue around the inside of my candle?
Candles are known for creating a black type of soot if they’re not trimmed regularly.
To avoid this from happening, keep the wick trimmed to about 7mm from the surface of the candle.
You can easily remove black soot with a cloth.
NEVER
* Never leave a burning candle unattended.
* Never use water to extinguish your candle.
* Never move a burning candle.
ALWAYS
* Ensure wicks are always trimmed to 7mm during use and each time after burn.
* Ensure you have a full melt pool of wax across the top of your candle before extinguishing, otherwise future burns may tunnel.
* Stop burning your candle when 1cm of wax is remaining.
* Always burn your candles on an appropriate flat, heat resistant surface.
* Keep away from children, pets and flammable materials.
